Featuring the Grand Pacific dreadnought body shape, exclusive comfort features and top-tier tonewoods, the Builder’s Edition 517e WHB introduces Taylor players to a new kind of sound within our lineup. Solid mahogany back and sides generate a warm, punchy midrange response with projection and aged-in warmth from the torrefied Sitka spruce top, resulting in a blended, seasoned tone with clear low-end power. Our V-Class bracing enhances the response with more volume and longer sustain while also providing greater harmony between notes. This Builder’s Edition model also boasts chamfered edges and a compound-carve neck profile for a more seamless feel, and the Silent Satin finish reduces incidental playing noise for recording applications.
